How do you wash a velvet yarmulke? They're the stiff kind from the brand Kapele and I tried hand washing one but it looks worse than it was before, what should I do?

The stiff yarmulka's are not machine washable. They need to be spot washed. They get out of shape in the machine. Only the soft velvet yarmulka's are machine washable.

wash in cool water by hand as briefly as possible and air dry on a bowl, balloon or wig form.
