Correct. I am not traveling, I am not seeing my grandkids.

I’ve seen studied ppl not fully vac die
I’ve seen studied full vax get sick. But no or little deaths from covid.
The CDC even says those fully vaxxed can spend time with non-vaxxed family members. |
Just want to correct myself. Some have died.
Out of 75 million fully vaccinated Americans, 5,800 got COVID-19, and 74 died

And one of those who died was my pulmonologist.

Are they really blaming 74 deaths on the vaccine?? probably just a coincidence!

No, you’re not understanding. They didn’t die from the vaccine. They died from covid.

No covid caught after being fully vaccinated vaccinated.

You should read Daniel Kahneman's "Thinking Fast and Slow" for an explanation of how foolish that statement was. For those who have read it, WYSIATI.

And this is why the entire world should take a risky vaccine? Because there's a 1 in a million chance to die from covid? The chance to die from the flu or any virus or infection is bigger than that.

No! 74 deaths from covid among fully vaccinated people. 74 people have gotten covid and died out of 75 million people who are fully vaccinated. The actual death rate from covid was about, what, 1-2 in 1000? So we're talking about reducing the death risk by 1000%.
Wow. Elementary statistics, people!

I don’t need to read anything, but thanks. Someday, when you are older and sicker, you may change the lens you view things with. It’s much easier being high risk at 30, than it is at 60. I don’t actually expect you to understand that.

That response was to the OP who was saying that at-risk family members were planning on coming (and the next poster who called the 16-year-old selfish).
Don't call a 16-year-old DD selfish for not wanting to get vaccinated. Call your at-risk family members selfish for insisting on having people vaccinated just so they can come!

What you see is all there is.
By your logic, you should never leave your front door.

I feel much better now. So the 74 deaths were not from the vaccine b"h, they were from Covid among fully vaccinated people. Much better. I was so concerned that there were people actually dying from the vaccine....but that couldn't be cuz it would just be considered a coincidence, right?

I myself am high risk, I wouldn’t come. You might start by tell8ng her she’s being selfish, but I doubt the timing will go your way. |
If you are going to call someone selfish for not agreeing with you then maybe they don't want you to come anyway.
I'm gonna wait and see what happens in a couple years before I inject myself with a new vaccine that hasn't been studied long term. Thanks.
I guess I am selfish about my health.
