Hi all! I am planning to be in Seattle shortly and would love some info on kosher food, etc. I am not staying in the frum community, but rather in the Lake Forest Park area. Online it looks like there are two supermarkets with kosher departments that are about equidistant - is one better than the other? I will need food for shabbos and basic take-out. What kosher restaurants are available?

Also, can you tell me what attractions there are? I will be traveling with a baby and will have limited time, but would love to see the city a bit.

Thanks!

Island crust pizza is near Albertsons on Mercer Island.
Look up the Seattle Vaad. Contact them for more information.

Pabla has the most amazing Indian food. Get the mali kofta, it is amazing! I miss it so much. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

The Seattle Children's Museum has fun stuff to do with toddlers.

Pike Place Market is free to get into, and the artists there are very talented. Just looking around is fun. Do some people watching, while sitting at a café with a cup of coffee.

If you like nature, it's a short drive several beaches.

They have a kosher deli, and a kosher bakery. Everything is under Vaad supervision at all times. They also have a lot of shelf stable items like nosh, canned soup, gefilte fish in a jar, and stuff like that.
