When I changed my mind from the innocuous chana Miriam to my public name, it was a reaction to someone here dying and it really bugged me that I’d never know who was never going to be here again. Morbid, I know.. but it also helps me to mind what I say since I only go smother when I’m dating something about something that might relate back to someone else in my life and whose business I’m keeping to myself.
