Is there a way to set the phone up that the sound should automatically go on and off at a cetain times?
I always put my phone on silent at night, and then forget to turn the ringer back on in the morning.

Why don't you rather turn off your phone? Or put it in airplane mode?

You can set the Do Not Disturb mode. I have it go on at 12 and off at 7.

Older versions of android might not have the do not disturb scheduling. You can try using the IFTT app instead

My phone is from 2017 which is not crazy. It has DND mode.

Yes but some kosher phones have older versions of android. Not saying that this is the case, just explaining the option. Also IFTT is great for other uses. I have my phone ringer turn off when I get to work and turn back on when I leave automatically.
