I want to make some halloumi fries with
NO COATING, just the cheese
1. Can I bake instead of fry
2. Can I make them in advance
3. Can it be frozen and reheated once they are cooked

My easiest method is to put slices in a sandwich maker. You get the lines on both sides & no fuss (just cleanup!)
I’ve done the oven and it tastes fine, but totally loses its shape.
It has to be served warm, so no point in cooking in advance.
