My son has a little rash spots near his underwear line which makes him itchy. I’m not sure what could be causing it in that area only, other than I’m thinking a possible latex allergy-from the elastic in the underwear?
Is this possible? How can I fix this?
I don’t see underwear without elastic...
Any other possible causes?

You can try soft jersey boxers that are loose and more comfortable than “whitey-tighty”s

If it’s the elastic causing it then you could look for some where the elastic is covered by the seam rather than being exposed. It could also be that because the elastic is tight to the skin and there’s no airflow, moisture is getting trapped. Is he drying very well after his shower before getting dressed? He may need to air out for a few minutes in between to fully dry. This could also be an issue if he’s prone to sweating.

It’s only by the top line, not really around his legs...anyone have any links? Toddler sized...
He’s totally dry when he puts it on
Thank you for your help!

Maybe size up? Is it too tight? Does the "rash" go away when he takes them off? I am wondering if its just irritated from being a little snug.

Could it be a fungus?

Regular fit but it’s elastic so obviously snug

I THINK I remember these having a softer band but I may be wrong. We don't have them anymore so I don't know for 100% but worth checking out. In general they were really soft.

Edit to add that they have other styles also.

He may be allergic to the latex used in the elastic. Try to find underwear with covered elastic.

Maybe Jockey makes something like this?

My kids could never wear the exposed elastic underwear. Can you find him some without?

We have this company in girls.
