Hi ladies
Iyh my son is turning 3 soon. Trying to someone who is willing to come to the house and cut his hair. He is EXTREMELY NERVOUS about it. Excited for after. But scared of haircut. The ideal recommendation would be very sensitive, and have lots of experience w kids. Im doing my best to help him overcome his fears/anxiety about it- but I worry he'll just end up crying anyway. Would appreciate any leads. Thank you!

I have done upsherins a number of times.
It’s ok if your little boy cries. My daughter cries by her haircuts too.
I suggest you role play before the event. And tell him that it will feel funny but not hurt. It’s ok to cry if he feels he needs to. It is an overwhelming experience, lots of people and a big scissors
