my skin is darker, and my 2 yo is so light...I have no idea how to deal with her skin...today was a super sunny day and it didnt even enter my head to put on sunscreen.. im feeling so guilty... we came in and her hands and neck are red and blotchy... she is not complaining... is it just a burn? or is it a rash? looks more like a rash...but I dont know... what should I do?

One of my kids burn very easily as well.
If it is a sunburn, put aloe vera on the burn.
After forgetting a couple times and seeing my kid burn, I have gotten in better sunscreen habits! But I always keep aloe vera at home in case she still burns. Sometimes if we are out for a while and I forget to reapply then she will get a sunburn. Also sun hats and staying in the shade when possible helps!

FYI you should wear sunscreen no matter your skin tone. Photo aging and skin cancer don’t discriminate
