Where did you find a kosher one?
(No recipe, sorry.)

Most kosher butchers and definitely kosher markets, mislabel kosher meat cuts. The chances of having a real Kosher Filet Mignon cut are really slim. First determine what cut of meat it really is, and then you can figure out how to cook it. I suggest using google.

The same way you would a rib steak; just a few minutes on each side. If you like it more medium/well, finish it in the oven. Or start with a reverse sear.
*Mock filet mignon uses the center eye of the rib.

I cook with a Sous Vide first, since it was a very nice extra thick cut, then a quick sear both sides on a smoking hot grill pan.

Bought in Monsey Glatt, thick meat labeled Mignon Steak.
