Help!! I took chicken drumsticks for dinner out of the freezer too late (this is my MO:)) I put it in a basin of water an hour ago ago and I can't pry them apart yet. Anything I can do to speed up the process?

Remove the packaging from the chicken (very important since it keeps it frozen longer), place the frozen chicken in a Ziploc bag, seal, and dump it in a bowl of very cold water. Keep the water running if you can to speed it up.
After a while, check to see if each drumstick can be separated. Then separate them and make sure each piece is surrounded by cold water instead of surrounded by each other (while they are still in sealed bags of course).
