Has anyone dealt with an 18 month old grinding their teeth, day and night time? What can I do about it?

See a dentist or oral surgeon can be the bite. He may put in an appliance to even out the jaw.

They won’t do anything. Lots of children do it. They grow out of it by the time they get adult teeth. It’s annoying though!!! I can’t take the sound

Parasites are said to be a common cause.

My kid did it for a short while around that age and grew out of it by her second birthday. I offered her a chew toy or a pacifier when I noticed her doing it.

Hard to diagnose, you can ask for a stool test but chances are it won’t show up. Easinophils and basophils on a CBC, High IgE can be indicative but not diagnostic. Personally I would just give 2 doses of pin x 2 weeks apart and see if I see a difference. Personally for us it turned out to be strep. When we treated for Chronic strep one of the unexpected improvements was that the bruxism stopped. Maybe also related to apnea, enlarged tonsils and adenoids, which are related to tongue tie and narrow jaw.
