Can I make a crumb topping now for a recipe I'm making tomorrow? Anyone have a good recipe without margarine?

You can definitely make crumb topping today and store in the fridge until tomorrow, when you'll crumble on top and bake it. I've done that before. I've also stored crumb topping in the freezer for months with no issue.
