so I just made most of my shaloch manos for this year...

its a chinese theme and I think they came out really cute so here they are

inside is :

a chinese fan
fortune cookies inside a dragon emblomed mini tote bag
rice cakes
chop sticks
sesame candy
penut candy
fizzy "sushi roll ( I know thats Japan but I ran out of ideas)
and a green tea

whadda you think? I am super not artsy so I am really proud of myself

I totally wimped out this year and am sending 50 cards tomorrow and on Friday am delivering exactly ONE shaloch manos to the people hosing us for seudah.

Between twins that are at home napping, a husband who has to work on Friday, going to the seudah, and getting a babysitter so I can get to megillah reading not to mention Shabbos prep, I have no time to deliver shaloch manos too.

You impress me! Now you need cute little chinese costumes for the twins.

gorgeous.
another idea for a/o else trying to do it....
when I did Chinese, I made fried rice and put it into one of those chinese take-away boxes.
But it would pretty much need to be done the day of.
and I put in some chopsticks.

I have to confess...I was kind of like Rolling Eyes about themes (I never received a theme one)...but after seeing yours OP, I am inspired for next year!

I would love to receive something so special, yummy, pretty and charming!
