I met one family with 21 kids, but I was little, and didn't consider the ramifications at the time. No one else that I know personally has more than 14.

So who are these lucky 18ers, and what is it LIKE?

I know 5 families with 17-18 kids.

I don't know how to answer this question. I am the oldest of 4, but one of my siblings was niftar recently. So do my parents have 3 children or 4?

And definitely no more on the way!

11. I know it sounds weird if youre not used to it but honestly worldwide why should there not be more then four families with 18 kids? I know a fam with 16, with 17 and with 18. and that's my generation. nowadays its way more common.

they dont grow up together. usually the older ones are married by time the younger ones arrive.

it's built in company. I had no sisters my age and so by the time my brothers were off to yeshiva I had to 'adopt' a sister.

there's a clip on you tube of officially Englands largest family 16 kids and still going strong (Non jewish) an insult to the many larger Jewish fams- wiping us off the map!

We are both 10th of 11 children.

But my youngest sib was adopted out. So.....
I always thought/knew I was the youngest.

I grew up in dysfunctional. Dh grew up in a stable loving family. I love large families but I'm not sure I'm capable of having one myself.

My mom and I were preg together so I had who to vent to but then she gave birth right before me so I had no help when I had my first. That was hard

I wasn't pregnant with my mother (she was pregnant at my wedding) but we were nursing babies at the same time! That was neat. I thought it was nice to share that, although she has always been very "mother" (older advice-giver nurturer) and wouldn't shmooze about shared woes lol.

I know at least 2 families with 18+. I love how many 90 yr old great aunt says she looks not a day older then 21. (And it’s true,I have another neighbor with 12 kids and she is thin and gorgeous and looks 30. Some ppl are blessed with amazing genes. But a real smile helps a lot also)

My father had six (I'm his youngest) and my mother had 8 (she had two more kids after me). This doesnt include the stepkids (my fathers stepkids are all older than me, my mothers stepkids are all younger than me). I guess we are a combined total of 15 if you count all kids together. But we are a small family considering that several of my relatives have over 18 biological kids each Whew
