Not burgers because I don't have buns in the house

Not tomato based sauce

Thanks!

You can do burgers without buns. We call it fushet. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice. I put in:
Ground meat
2 eggs
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Drop duck sauce
(Sautéed onions or cubes optional)
Leftover challa that I make wet and squeeze out

Eta: make patties and fry or grill

So we eat burgers (make them thick, not super flat) with a fork and French fries on the side.
I don’t serve bread and potatoes together at one meal and they prefer potatoes.

Taco meat with salad and corn

Meat loaf

Meatballs but in a mushroom soup or sweet & sour or cranberry...

How would you do meatballs with a mushroom sauce? That sounds good.

If you have some time and the ingredients on hand, we *love* these Sephardic lemon celery meatballs!

Meatballs
1. Chop 1/2 a large yellow onion, 1/2 bunch fresh parsley, and a few celery leaves.
2. Mix in a large bowl with the following and knead: 1lb ground meat, 1 egg yolk, 1/2tbs olive oil, 1/2tsp salt, 1/4tsp cumin, 1/2tsp pepper, 1/8 tsp turmeric, 1/2tsp lemon juice, and 1/8 cup of breadcrumbs. Form into small balls.

Sauce
1. Cover the bottom of a pot/skillet with 1 chopped onion and a little oil. Saute over medium heat.
2. When onions are translucent add 1/2tbsp olive oil, 1/4tsp cumin, 1/8tsp turmeric, 1/8tsp pepper, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/4 cup water (or white wine). Keep over low heat.
3. Slice about 5 celery stalks into little moons, and chop 1 garlic clove and add both to pot.
4. Peel 1 lemon, remove pits, and slice into small triangles. Add to pot.

Add meatballs to sauce pot (may need some more liquid), cook for 10 minutes, flip, cook 10 minutes more. Serve over rice or couscous and pour some liquid over the meatballs.

I don't have celery or parsley in the house, but I'm definitely keeping this in mind.

My husband loves Sephardic/ Israeli flavored food, and I love lemon!

Meatloaf
I make my meatball mixture and instead of boiling in tomato sauce I slice an onion put it in 9x13, shape meat mixture into a football, lay on top of onions, cover and bake for 45-60 min. It's very good plain or on bread.
Met mixture:
Ground meat
Egg
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Bread/corn flake crumbs or matzoh meal
Ketchup

There's a sesame chicken recipe in dinner done using ground chicken. I made it with ground meat and it came out great.
Sautee onions and garlic in a bit of oil. Add meat and mix, mush and flip until it basically cooked. Add brown sugar, soy sauce and sesame oil. Cook. Then add chicken stock ( I just did some onion soup mix because it seemed liquidy. Maybe ground meat makes more liquid than ground chicken. Add corn starch. I added potato starch because that's what I had. Cook a bit more. Came out great.

We made burgers a few weeks later with ground beef, eggs, cornflake crumbs, ketchup, mustard, onion powder, garlic powder and salt. I grilled on grill pan. Yum!! Lebavich purple cookbook
