I can really use some reassurance. Anyone here been exposed and not yet covid in the end? I didn't get together with my sister since last March cause I really didn't want to get covid. Monday we finally saw eachother and today she called me that she's covid positive. Pls any chance I could not get it?

I was exposed to my husband in March and didnt get it and again when my mil was in my house (didnt touch) a day before she tested positive. I know a family that lives in a small apartment that had it 3 separate times. It is possible you got it and very possible that you didn't, especially if you didn't touch, hug, eat close together. In the meantime take vitamin c, d, and zinc and social distance from others. If you are not sick by after shabbos you should be fine as symptoms only comes out within 3-6 days. Also keep in mind you might want to take a covid test or isolate even if you feel good. because many times you can be asymptomatic.

I was exposed to known cases of Corona a number of times over the past year. I never had any symptoms, and the two antibody tests I did came back negative.

Of course not everyone who is exposed gets covid. Think of all the people who had to quarantine due to exposure; not all of them got sick.

I was around people several times who ended up with COVID and was sure I'd get sick but never did. Then out of the blue, when I was around nobody at all, I came down with Covid. Who knows how this really works. But exposure does not mean it's a sure thing you'll sick.

This.
Of course not everyone exposed gets it. And many who test positive don't get sick. Just take a test and find out if you're one of them.
