If you had the ac on and they're dying, they weren't fresh.

We did flowers for a while and when they were fresh, they lasted 1-2 weeks, depending on the variety. And all our customers were floored that they lasted so long - because the grocery bouquets only last a few days.

Heat does kill flowers, but if they're in ac, 2 days means they weren't fresh.

2 things to extend the life: cut the stem on an angle and add bleach or sugar to the water.

No leaves below water. Clean case plus pinch of sugar and some bleach
All flowers cut at an angle. Flowers with hard stem's like roses like hot water. Soft stems use cold water. Tulips cold water.
Never put flowers close to fruit or candles.
Change water every day!

I used to work for a florist. Here's what we did with flowers that seemed to be on their way out.

Take them out of the water and rinse the stems well. Remove any leaves that were below the water line.

Completely clean the container, preferably with a little bit of bleach. Fill the container with room temp water and a crushed aspirin.

Recut the stems at a steep angle. Make sure you pull out any leaves and flowers that are turning yellow or brown, and toss them out.

Put the remaining flowers back in the container, making sure that there are no leaves below the water line.

(ETA: I see that others have posted similar advice.)

For future reference, long lasting flowers are statice, baby's breath, and others https://www.proflowers.com/blo.....wers/

It is very disappointing.

You can try to revive hydrangeas. Typically they don’t last so don’t know why they d use in a shavous bouquet.
Cut the bottoms and stick in boiling hot water.
Others find putting them upside down in cold water works.

.

OMG! This worked!! Wow! Thank you!

Thanks for all tips.
The flowers are not in a vase of water. It's an arrangement, the flowers are stuck into this green sponge. I can't take it apart.

Is the sponge wet?

I think so. I added water on Friday but it's not in a proper vase so it leaked all over.
