My daughter's dough won't rise. She did it unsupervised, not for the first time.
She said the yeast proofed nicely, but when I checked on her, there were no bubbles.

Now the dough isn't rising.
That's a lot of flour to waste!! I don't want to throw it all out.

Can it be salvaged?

Put it in a warm oven, see what happens. Oven should be off, but warm before you put the dough in.

Or put on the back burner of your oven while you are cooking, if the vent is in the back. And then give it another hour. It’s a long day, so if you don’t need to cook fleishig in that oven, you have a nice amount of time. (Or you can cook the fleishig food covered).

Thank you to both of you for hour advice!
It's been in my 'warming oven' for over 1 hour and hasn't budged.
Ugh.
I think I will start from scratch and try to make Babka with the old batch.
