Does anyone have an idea what I could do with the 9/10 of the pomegranate that I have left over from the simanim? Recipes without exotic ingredients that are impossible to find here would be appreciated!

Yes! A friend of mine made a Simanim Salad on Rosh Hashana and used pomegranate seeds as a garnish - it is delicious!

you can send it here my kids think it is a candy made out of a fruit and they love it.
why don't you juice it it is a very sweet drink for a sweet tooth.

the best of the Heimishe cookbook has a recipe for a salad.
btw, a short while back we bought pomegranate juice. tasted almost liek grape juice -- but VERY sweet!
