This. For regular dry skin I like eucerin intensive repair. But for eczema the dermatologist I've taken my kids too said cerave is the best.

Cerave is great!!! but all moisturizers will work best if, after a bath, pat dry and apply cream right away. locks in the moisture even better.

You may find a cream that provides relief, but you should know that eczema comes from your inside food allergies, leaky gut etc...

I have tried renew, didn't do too well.
My experience was that all moisturizes moisture the skin but also make it itch more, until I tried Nivea which absolutely doesn't itch. Simple good old and cheap cream.
Never tried Aveeno

I tried a lot of different creams, including prescription ones, on my toddler’s eczema, but the one that works best is Aveeno baby eczema lotion. I also switched to Dove sensitive body wash and the eczema basically disappeared in two days.

Or stress or pollen or dust or change of schedule.

My son definitely has seasonal triggers as it always flares around the season changing like pesach and succos. We can predict it like clockwork at this point (he is a teen)

Interestingly aveeno for us was horrible. It caused the most insane flare up he ever had. But he doesn’t have oat or gluten intolerance. I always found that interesting.

I know most people probably didn't hear about this. But when my son had really bad eczema & after I had tried all the creams suggested above without any results. Someone suggested I try Balmex. Yes, the diaper rash cream. It helped him wonders. But I did find that it dried his skin. So, I used to put A+D & Balmex. When his skin was bet bad, I used to put it on twice a day, morning & night.

My skin is very sensitive to moisturizers. Most make me itch. Burts bees hand cream works well on my hands. Or olive oil for my body.
