There will be a disclaimer that the vaccine may not be recommended for everybody, and there will be a list of side effects, like for every single other drug on the market. "Ask your doctor if the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine is right for you." |
No, Vaccines are treated differently then any other drug
1. You cannot sue pharmaceutical industry if vaccine kills or injures you.
2. People are never told about possible side effects. There is a vaccine insert that is never
shown to patients even though for drugs the patient must be given the insert.
3. Doctors cannot give medical exemptions with very very few exceptions (you are on
chemotherapy). Doctors who give medical exemptions have been harassed and threatened.

Have you received any vaccines lately? I am always handed the insert with possible side effects, and I have to sign saying that I’ve received that information. I have found this to be true both for vaccines for myself and as a parent.
ETA: for the Covid vaccine, I went to one of the mass vaccination sites. There were giant posters all over the place warning of possible side effects and letting you know when to call a doctor. This was in addition to the formal handout I received.

Back to the OP:
I know someone getting married in August and the hall is requiring guests to either be vaccinated or have a negative PCR test within 3 days of the wedding I believe. Maybe call up the place your uncle is getting married at and ask them directly what their policy is?
