Saute and freeze flat in a large zip lock bag.

Add to dishes as you make them (roasts, soups, eggs, etc)

We do the same for onions.

I just slice and roast with a little olive oil and salt when I have other things in the oven. Then use in salads and omelettes.

Sauté with onion and garlic and add to rice with salt and pepper.
Sauté and eat!
Roast and eat or add to salad.
Add to salad raw.
Thread onto skewers alternating with cubes of chicken and baby tomatoes. Grill or roast kebabs.

Mushroom egg salad, mushroom sauce, mushroom kugel, saute'ed mushroom with one egg scrambled into it at end. Saute mushrooms with garlic add into sugar snap pea salad, mushroom barley soup, dairy cream of mushroom soup, put into tuna melt/ panini, mushroom pizza, mushroom calzone

You can also add it into any stirfry/sloppy joe mixture, add it into burgers.

saute onions and mushrooms, stir into sour cream, season to taste and use as snack dip (potato chips, corn chips, etc) or schmear on toasted breads

eta: sorry! didn't catch the healthy part (though chips and dips are good for your soul when a girlfriend and a glass of wine are added 😉)

Raw in salad with lettuce, grape tomatoes, baby corn.

Dressing mix mayo, mustard, vinagar, sugar and garlic powder.

Also good with pastrami in it.

I just drizzle them with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Bake for about 1/2 hour covered.

We eat these as is. I also use them (baked as above) in my portabella mushroom salad (with romaine lettuce, sliced cucumber, cherry tomato, and honey-glazed almonds) and either a garlic-soy dressing or a red french-style dressing.

When you out the package in the fridge, poke a big hole in the plastic and open it up. After that, they might dry out some but go bad a lot slower. Drying out is not a problem for cooking with them.

this stew is always a hit in my house. Even those who don't care for the mushrooms eat the rest
2 Lbs beef chuck or stew meat, cut in large chunks(more!!)
2 spanish onions, sliced
2 12 oz boxes mushrooms sliced

Sauce:
¼ c teriyaki sauce
2 tsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
2 Tbsp Honey
1 tsp sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, mined
1 cube frozen ginger
1 tsp Mustard powder

Place meat, onions, and mushrooms in your Crock-pot.
Stir together all sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Pour over meat and veggies.
Cook on high for 4-6 hours or on low for 6-8 hours. For best results, stir after an hour or two, to ensure the sauce gets well mixed.

I serve over rice.
