My friend asked my opinion on this. She has a lovely ankle length plain white dress, which she looks amazing in. Should she wear it for a shidduch? It seems to me that it might be a bit suggestive for the first time you meet someone. On the other hand, white is very fashionable now, and maybe she should just wear what looks good on her.

I don’t think men read that much into this.
If I saw someone in a white dress I wouldn’t just think BRIDE. Unless of course that dress was a wedding dress

What sort of venue will her date be in?
It might look odd in a park, coffee shop, or your typical shidduch date hotel lounge.
