What age do people start sending out their kids?
Does anyone have a group they can recommend? My baby is a year and a half

What area are you in? I think it's different depending on where you live. I dont send till three cuz of convenience and finances, but lot's of people think Im crazy and I always need to explain to people why my kids arent in playgroup.

Is this a new thing?
We send out our children based on what people I'm our "circles" do?!?!?
I sent my baby to do the babysitter because I had to work. Otherwise, I think it depends on a child's personality. Some babies want/need the social life with other babies. You can either arrange frequent play dates or send them to a babysitter, but that should have nothing to do with other people.
