We just moved and I'm trying to find a home for everything.

Where do you keep papers and which papers do you keep? Like old receipts and medical papers and birthday cards...?

Where do you keep wires and random electronics like shabbos clocks, headphones, millions of wires, converter plugs etc?

Where and how do you store medicines, bandaids, bandages, vitamins etc?

I'll add more below as I come across things that are homeless.
Thanks!

We have a file cabinet for important papers.

I have a small plastic storage box for wires that it kept on a shelf in a closet.

I have another box in a different closet for medications and another in our pantry for vitamins.

Other medical supplies (bandages, creams, etc) are kept in a small storage container with drawers in the cabinet under my bathroom sink.

Papers in a file cabinet and shelves in the study.
Wires in a drawer in the kitchen.
Basic first aid supplies in a kitchen drawer near the stove, and more in the linen closet.

They key is always to store things right near where you use them.

A filing cabinet is a lifesaver for important documents likes medical and tax records, and utility bills, bank statements, pay stubs (though most of those are digital these days). I don't keep birthday cards. Or receipts, unless they're for appliance warranty purposes.

I have a basket in the living room for headphones and random electronic wires. I check things regularly and whatever doesn't work/is obsolete, goes into the electrics recycling bin.

Medicines and vitamins go into bins stored high in the kitchen. Bandaids in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom.

Papers: Unless you need your old receipts for tax or business-related reasons, I would throw them out. For all other documents, I have an accordian plastic file folder and file them by child/subject. Old birthday cards and things like that I have a small plastic container in my closet where I keep notes that mean something to me

Bandaids and bandages are kept in a kitchen as that is usually where they are needed most lol. Other medicines are kept in the bathroom closet

Random wires are kept in the drawer to my night table
