I'm looking for someone to rip out old carpet and put in vinyl plank flooring - not a company but a handyman type of person. Can anyone give me a name and tell me if they were good.

It is not to hard to rip out your own carpet.
I did this 2 years ago we riped out our carpet & had someone put in vinyl the person we hired no longer does it.
Did you look at advertising for handyman's and ask them if they do it.

Seems that handymen don't want to do this type of work. Anyone have any leads?

Op did you end up finding someone?
Redoing basement flooring and looking for someone to install vinyl!!!
Where did you buy vinyl?
Do you know how much was the whole job? Obviously depends on size of the room, I'm just trying to get an idea!

We were very happy with step on me flooring. Reasonable pricing and great service!
I think we paid about $6 a sq ft, install included, but we didn't get the cheapest tiles available. They also really don't pressure you to get anything more expensive than you need, I just wanted something specific.
They rip out the old flooring if you need.
