I have slotted doors to my boiler room. They are so dusty. How can I clean them? When I tried warm water it just spread the dust all around. It wasn’t the greatest paint job so could be that makes it worse...

I would use a duster or a dry microfiber cleaning towel

You say the paint is already bad.
Take the doors off, and bring them outside. Clean them as well as you can with some soapy water, and then wash them really well with a garden hose. Leave them to dry in the sun for a couple of days, and then repaint them with a high gloss enamel paint. You brush it on it by hand (nicer finish) or do it with spray can paint (much faster, but prone to dripping.)
With high gloss paint, you can wipe any future dust off of them with just a swipe of a feather duster, and the dirt will slide right off.

On the day you plan to do the floors (vacuum/sweep/wash), use a feather duster to remove the dust. Yes it will fly. But you'll be doing the floors right after.
Then take a damp rag with just a touch of soap smudged in, and wipe down the dirt to make she there's no grime left.

I’m not looking to repaint now...
Didn’t think of using a duster first. Thanks!! Will do that!
