Before the bag ban I used to bring my own bags to store were I would bag them myself and was fine
Since the bag ban I can't stand bringing in my own bags to the store
corn chips or potato chips

About 15 years ago if not more I was living in a place were the only shopping was in non-Jewish stores.
The plastic bags were so cheep they would break while putting them in the shopping cart.
I got a bunch of reusable bags because in those days reusable bags actually lasted for a long time(I still have some of the first ones I brought)and I would be able to bring my groceries to the car much easier.
