we still haven't heard from greeneyes. Where are you?

Thanks for caring, pickle lady! The oven/stove still hasn't been fixed, so it's been really frustrating. (On the bright side, I've been making good use of my microwave, toaster oven, & sandwich maker. LOL )

I did a bit of research & read through a tenant's rights guide, but my father pointed out to me that we'd have to ask a Rav before taking any action against the landlord. Hopefully my husband will be able to speak to a Rav tonight IY"H.

If it were just the oven, I wouldn't be so frustrated, but we've had to deal with so many issues, it's absurd. Banging head

for the future, any issue you have with the landlord, keep a written record with date and time.

We have a record of all the issues during the past month or so. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to me to record everything before that.

Over the last month, we've had water shut off for hours on end, electricity shut off....and the latest is that there's no front door. Exploding anger

Now that I have everything documented, I still don't know what to do with the information.

greeneyes, withhold the rent. If he wants to take you to court, present all the information.

bash me if you please, but if this is the case, I doubt a shailah is necessary.

We got a stove! Cheers

Now I've just got to clean it & kasher it & I'll be all set...
