Bugaboo fox works well here- 6 ft and 5’8.
Surprisingly got used to the Doona also, we don’t use it to stroll but we live in a suburb and it’s great for quick errands.

Or do they have like a custom add on handle that I can put on some strollers?

You shouldn’t need that unless you’re an NBA player. Just look for telescoping handlebar as a feature. My 6ft tall husband does well this on our city select

I have not purchased a stroller in years but many have adjustable handles and I was able to adjust it accordingly. I’m 6ft tall

Look for a stroller that the seat/bassinet sits higher on the frame as well as adjustable handlebar. Bugaboo traditionally sit very low, and you have to bend to put child in and out (I find it hard and I'm not tall), but I think the fox is better. Most strollers come with adjustable handlebar-telescopic works best.
I would recommend the Joolz day/hub or cybex priam as strollers that are better for taller people. Uppababy is also good.
Also remember as well as the handlebar and seat, also check the rear axle. A low axle can mean for a longer stride will mean your legs keep bumping against the back of the stroller.

Don’t add a handle. It doesn’t work. I’m 5’8”. My rule is I need to try it out in person. I don’t want to have to take apart a stroller and ship it back. I’ve been good with Bumbleride, Bugaboo, Uppa Baby, Mountain Buggy. City Mini is less good. Your mileage may vary.
