This may sound like a weird question but here it goes:
Are you looking for a competent person to diagnose your child or a person who gives the diagnosis easily?
(meaning the child has some difficulties similar to kids with autism, therefore you would like a diagnosis to use for insurance or board of Ed services).
Also just realized, is this for a child?

This is a child. He already has the ‘diagnosis’ we needed to get him into a program. What I’m looking for is a solid evaluation. Someone who can tell us if in fact he’s on the spectrum or not.

Dr r Zacharowitz is great but she's in cedarhurst. Definitely worth the trip if you are willing to travel
