I am planning a kiddush for my princess in a couple weeks. This kiddush is 2 fold and I want it extra special. She just had a major surgery and bh is recovering nicely so its a seudas hodaah as well as a kiddush for her birth.
Due to circumstances I wil not have Thursday night that week to prepare since we have a family bar mitzvah. Also bh because of rhe bar mitzvah I am having a lot of ppl. which I am very happy about. It seems I will be having close to 50 ppl for the meals, more for day meal and then a kiddush which neighbors will come to as well. I am looking for ideas for the kiddush and meals. I am up to working hard and I am.very excited about it! I just hope weather is nice and kiddush can be outdoors....
So far for kiddush:
Lots of cakes and miniatures
Kugel/yapchik/cholent/kishke
Meat boards/kibbe/lachmagine/shnitzel/baby chicken
4 salads
Fruit
Drinks
Candy station with bags for kids
Colorless freeze pops.
Seltzer/grape juice/water
Herring/kichel
