Will my high risk ob force me to take a COVID vaccine? (Will she say that she will not see me unless I take)

No one can force you to do anything. They can recommend what they think is the best medical decision, and you can make your own decision.

Just tell her that you were vaccinated. You gotta lie when it's your life at stake.

That is really terrible advice.
NEVER lie to your doctor about medical matters.

Don't let anyone force you to do something you aren't comfortable with. A high risk ob should not be forcing someone who is pregnant to take a vaccine with unknown long term effects, especially for pregnant women.

I wouldn't lie. I would rather find a new doctor who will respect your decisions.

A doctor cannot force you. Hear what they have to say. Keep in mind you’re trusting a high risk OB for one of the truly biggest and riskiest things that will truly happen to you in this life. You need to trust them and you need to be honest with them.

Disgusting and vile.

And demonstrating everything that is wrong with the world today.

Feel free not to vaccinate.

But you're not the only one who has rights. Businesses have the right to tell you to shop elsewhere, and doctors have the right to protect their medically fragile patients by telling you to find another doctor.

It is.

The culture of selfishness. Of not caring about anyone other than yourself. Advocating lying and cheating to get what you want, with no regard to others.

Its unethical, and IMNSHO antithetical to halacha.

You don’t say which dr / ob you’re using.
You don’t say where In the world you live.

Sure we can answer your question. Not.

People don't need to get vaccinated for others. They don't have to put themselves at risk if they aren't comfortable with it. I agree with you people shouldn't lie and cheat. But noone needs to inject themselves with a vaccine with unknown side effects. Vaccinate yourself and protect yourself if you choose...don't put the responsibility on someone else.

OP: I am seeing a high risk doctor for my pregnancy because I understand that he or she is thoroughly trained and knowledgeable in the medical field and I trust them to help me and my unborn child

Also OP: But I don’t trust any of the doctors who almost universally promote the vaccine.

Got it.

I'm the last one to lie about anything. I like being truthful. But recently I was in a situation , needed a certain kind of medical care, and could only access it if I was vaccinated.

I know too much about the vaccine and have chosen to not vaccinate. It's the right decision for me. I don't impose it on anyone.

The only way I could see this specialist was of I lied, so I asked a shaila and was told I may. The specialist is vaccinated, everyone in the office is vaccinated. I'm not harming anyone by coming in with a mask, unvaccinated.

In a crooked world, y'learn to take care of your health in whichever way you gotta do it.

We all sin differently, but we all sin. Cut us some slack we're trying to survive. My sin isn't worse than yours. If you're completely sin free I would like to meet you and give you a kvittel

Don't lie to your doctor. You never know what information the dr uses to make decisions and how they use it.
For (a made-up) example: maybe there are different guidelines for the strength of blood thinners that the dr is routinely prescribing to pregnant patients due to the pandemic. They might tell vaccinated patients to take baby aspirin, and put unvaccinated patients on a prescription blood thinner. (This is all made up. I am not a dr.)

Never lie to your doctor

I'm not.

If you don't want to vaccinate, and want to accept the risk that you're going to be permanently injured, or die, of covid, then that's up to you. I could not possibly care less about people who knowingly take that risk.

But a high risk doctor has the right to decide not to accept patients who ignore her advice to vaccinate, or who could put other medically fragile patients at risk.

Why should you be the only person with rights?

How do you know that you didn't come in contact with medically fragile patients who were not able to take the vaccine?

ETA -- in any case, you've already decided that your own knowledge of science and medicine is so vastly superior to this doctor's that you can reject his medical advice out of hand and substitute your own for it, by rejecting the vaccine requirement. So why don't you just google and treat yourself?

You made your choice not to vaccinate. Live with it. Stop endangering others.

I was the only one in the office. They scheduled one at a time so never more than 1 patient in the office. .
