There are a bunch of small things about living in Israel that really make me want to move there... Some might think they're silly reasons...
Add your reasons!
*Separate beaches
*No rain in the spring/summer (I'm so sick of the crazy thunderstorms we have in the summer, and not being able to plan outdoor things in advance)
*Eruv (in most places?)

My DH is alone in NY with just me, our baby and my parents.
I wish my dh had his rebbeim and friends close by to.

I live in Israel and like it and don't plan on leaving. I don't think your reasons are silly.

We don't get thunderstorms in the summer, but we do get unbearable heatwaves. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, but when it comes to the weather its really a case of choosing your evil.

I love how every door you knock on is family.
And I love this thread. Let's keep talking about all the nice things in Israel.

Having an eruv is huge.
My silly reasons:
* kosher cappuccino everywhere you go.
* can go ahead and give your kid a name with ח or כ or צ in it, without worrying about how difficult it will be for future coworkers to pronounce.

We made aliyah with our family a few years ago.
It's home. Plain and simple. You know you belong here.

My silly reasons:
* Sponga. The concept of just being able to empty a bucket of water on the floor and then sponga everything into this hole the floors all have in Israel is just pure genius. I wonder why this doesn't exist elsewhere (or does it?)
* Access to kosher ice cream any place, any time

I have a (not) secret passion for pomegranates by the dozen, so Israel is definitely my home.

Kosher ice cafes on every corner.
Eruv
Literally any job either giving you the major Jewish holidays off, or it not being an issue because you are an EMT (etc) and halchichally allowed to work them.
Extremely inexpensive frum Jewish schooling for kids.
Comparatively (to the US) inexpensive higher education.

* having the Kosel a bus ride away
* Amazing parks wherever you go for the kids
* Kosher food wherever you go. Every gas station. Grocery. Kiosk
* Stunning views allover the country, so different the north and south yet not so distant
* People that take care of you (and your kids!) wherever you are... Wether they are overdressed, underdressed, falling asleep, they'll let you know!
* Taxi drivers that are one of a kind!!
* Medical insurance - cheap, affordable
* The only place that you can REALLY be mekayem mitzvos!

Free midwife led hospital births. Maternity rooms are not luxiourious like in US hospitals, but maternal and fetal outcomes far better.

*My gardener doing a pre-shmitta check-up
*A tie in sports being called a תיקו
*Never being more than 15 minutes away from rugelach
*The army's annual report before Pesach of how much matza and marror they have
*Streets named for figures from Jewish history
*When my fridge light went on over shabbos, and the repairman said, "I can fix the wire, but the קרבן חטאת is on you."

My heart is there.
Wish I can be there. I yearn every single day to be in Eretz Yisroel.

My children play cops and robbers, and every other childhood game, in Ivrit.
A mitpachat inspires respect and trust, rather than a bomb search.
No government office or school is open on chag/Shabbat, or in the lead-up to them

One day of chag. We have the occasional 2-day chag, and very rarely a 3-day chag on Rosh Hashanah, but for the most part it's one day. And I love that we only have one seder.
I know there are people who love 2 or 3 days of chag, but I'm not one of them.
Offices are closed on the chagim, no need to take vacation days. Also, workplaces in Israel seem to be much more easygoing about coming in late/leaving early to go to a brit, a kid's school event, etc. It's really a nonissue here, at least wherever I've worked.
Kids have much more freedom here than they do in the US.
And this is silly, but I like that the stoplights here turn yellow before turning green. 😁
