The question was about parenting style. So I believe In spoiling kids rotten and making them quiet by stuffing them up with sour stix and jelly.

The Earth itself is the oldest Earth in our solar system and the youngest Earth in our solar system. As the inheritors of all the wisdom preserved over the ages, but also being so young having never any of us seen a full millennium, I think we are all young and old at the same time.
