My son has been daytime wetting for a while now. It started out of the blue and I thought it would pass but unfortunately I think it's become habitual. Any idea how to help him?

First check that his pooping is in order - he makes a number 2 every day. If that’s not in order then it could be building up and pressing on his bladder. That is a big cause of daytime wetting.

Also please consider sending him to a therapist to rule out any psychological causes. My first physical sign of being s-xually abused as a child was suddenly wetting myself during the day.

This should be after checking for infection.

Is it just a little bit of pee or a full accident? A little wet might be constipation.
Some kids do it in the summer out of laziness. They're lazy to go inside to use the bathroom.
