Everyone really enjoyed Lancaster. I loved that one thing kept us busy the whole day - we did duch wonderland one day, and cherry crest the other (and something small on the day we went up). And that was enough per day. It was nice that we didn't have to go running around to multiple things every day.
Is there any place similar? Kids are ages 1-9 . We don't need food, although a minyan would be nice. Looking for something 4 hrs (or under) from NY. Kids like to do things that are very hands on.

Bump...
Still trying to figure out where to go.... Was thinking of Jiminy Peak as it sounded like something we'd enjoy, but I read that for younger kids there's not so much to do, so I'm thinking maybe we should wait another 2-3 yrs for that....
Any other ideas?

we've done the poconos a few times. heading there shortly again. Lots to do. my kids also same ages.
-kelders farm
-camelback mountain adventures (theres also a great playground there, and if u drive up to the summit stunning views and short trails
-boating
-gokarts, arcade, bumper boats
- mountain sliding
- snow tubing (fake snow)
- ropes course
-delaware water gap (george w child park)
- lehigh gorge scenic railway
- many stroller friendly beautful trails
- many summers there was a fair with rides/shows

Bushkill falls (but may be better for a little older kids)
