My son hates sports , he's a little bored for a few hours during the day while his friends play sports.

He usually reads Harry Potter or plays computer games then
I would love to buy him some art projects but having a hard time finding something
I would love any links on Amazon if anyone can share.

Adding- I asked him.what to get he was very excited to do a big color by number coloring project with pencils. He is a little color blind so I wasn't sure if that's a good idea

Thanks everyone for your ideas!!

Diamond art sounds like it would be great for him. You can get a generic one or you can get it customized. Just don’t get one too large because these things take forever to complete.

Sounds a lot like my son:

If he enjoys drawing/doodling/writing he can illustrate his own comic strip. Maybe a kit to learn calligraphy.

3d wooden puzzles, loads to choose from of different difficulty or size (time it takes to complete). one example is:

You can buy wood carving or woodwork kits for kits, if your son is handy.

What about building a model? They have model cars, clocks, all sorts of things or painting pottery.

my kids have really been enjoying kiwi crates. They have different levels . You can either get a subscription or buy a one off box.

Adult paint by number. He can do it even if he is color blind because it says the number on the canvas and on the paint container. My 10 year old really enjoys it.

Other ideas are diamond art, puzzles, lanyard.

another vote here for paint by number and diamond art.my son enjoyed the painting better. I also made sure it was a painting that interested him, and one that we were very proud to hang when he was done. just be careful - some of them require you to mix colors which makes it much harder and more frustrating for a young kid. my son loved these. already did 2. (no mixing colors involved) link below, they really came out stunning when he was done. there are probably abt 10 diff options to choose.
