I'd name him after someone I have no respect for, though that might be unfair to the dog.
the dog is so calm and mild mannered that I really could not do that. He’s just a six month old puppy but so chill!

Cyrus, Darius, Tadig, Sabzi (Persian references)

I like Cyrus a lit but my husband wasn’t into it. I thought naming him after food might be off although Tadig and sabzi are yummy!

[quote="Elfrida"]Wait until you meet him. Then it will be clearer what name suits him.[/quote

We did meet him and my husband wants the lady who is fostering until we can pick up to call him the new name so gets used to it!

Google the most common/popular dog names and stay away from them. Speaking as someone who inherited two dogs with names in the top 5.

I give my pets the names (in English) that I couldn’t give to my kids. Just names I like but wouldn’t fit in our family ( only Hebrew/Yiddish names). For example: Matilda-Tillie for short, Blossom, Maisie. For a boy, maybe Max, Filbert, Elliot, etc. have fun with it!

Son is max lol! Maybe Howard?

I usually name my pets after cartoons. We used to have a bird Tweety and a cat Sylvester.

In my family it would probably be marvel!

Kimchi is so cute lol. So is Comma. Our dogs are Spike (like Spike from Rugrats lol) and Queenie 😂

Kimchi is my favourite along with digby bc my son who is on the autism spectrums first drawing that was understandable was a dog named digby but my husband isn’t nuts about it. He would like Clifford but he isn’t big and red!

He is beautiful. I don’t like dogs, but if I’d get one - that’s the one I’d want!
