I had a little bit of money that I saved, hidden in a old purse in my cupboard. After two years my brilliant dh thought its better to hide somewhere else, as that's the first place a thief will look. Now I need the money and I can't find it because we hid it so well 
I think it's in my bedroom somewhere. I looked in every crazy place I can think of, incl: behind my bedboard, under my beds, sticked under any drawers, between my clothings or sheets, under the matres...
I need some out of the box ideas

Op, you sound like me. I once hid something and then hid in a more obvious place a note about the hiding place in Hebrew (-because we all know a thief won’t be able to read Hebrew. I know. Not brilliant.) Of course I managed to forget where I hid both, the note too. The only advice I can come up with is since it was your dh who suggested you switch where you hid it, maybe he helped you come up with a new place? Think the way he would not the way you do. Try to think of a spot he’d use. Maybe it’s not in the bedroom?

It's not in any book. Not behind the mirror and not behind the picture frame... It's not so much money, but still

One time I hid my jewelry in my box of tampons. I think I was pregnant so I didnt need it for a while. OMG till I found it.
Another time I took off my kalla earrings Motzai yom tov and dropped into my cosmetic bag. I couldnt find them for months! they fell into the bedika bag. I got pregnant then (different one) so I didnt need it for a while!
so everyone, some ideas!
