DD11 has had asthmatic episodes in the past but very very rarely. Now she's used her inhaler numerous times within the last week. I took her to the pediatrician who did not seem worried at all, he was like "it's the summer, allergy season, sports, whatever" and I'm like "It's been summer for a month and a half without this! Something's up." So I want a specialist.
We live in NYC but currently summering in the Catskills. So ideally I'm going to want a recommendation in the city for long term care, but if you happen to know someone good who has an office in the country that would also be great, I really really want to get this looked at ASAP and getting anxious thinking of how to take off from an intense job to bring her to an appointment in the city. But I will obviously do what I need to do. Just need some names and numbers please!

We use Dr. Katan in Columbia. He's amazing. You'll need a referral agency to help you get in.

Dr John Welter. He is with the Westchester pulmonology group but he comes to Ezras Choilim Health Center in Monroe once a month. He's great.
