Is there a dress code at levayas especially if it's a close family member? (Although not sitting shiva)
Can I wear light clothing, floral, colourful?
It's just what I have in my closet...and I also need to get on with my day.
But I don't wanne look inappropriate or stick out.
Can anyone advise please.

I would go as muted as possible. In my family everyone wears black, but that's because they're all secular. Hopefully other amothers from your circles can guide you

Light floral is fine just not too bright or too stsnd outish. Not that there's a dress code, you just don't want to call attention to yourself.

Muted. That was the word that came to mind. Either nice everyday or simple shabbos clothes

You shouldn’t wear Shabbos clothes to a funeral. Unless it’s the second day yom Tov

I wouldn’t wear floral or bright colors. Somber attire/dark colors is more appropriate

Disagree. Men wear suits and women wear somewhat formal as a sign of respect
