The recipe calls for 7 baby squash (half circle sliced) is that just small courgettes?

Are you talking about green squash? That could be summer squash, courgettes, or zucchini. They're all the same thing.

If the recipe is calling for orange squash, any hard winter squash like butternut or pumpkin will work.

They're super mini zucchini, as thick as a thumb. If you don't need the look of the expensive baby zucchini, then just use 1 or 2 regular zucchini.

Thanks. I don't think we can even buy the baby ones here. At least I've never seen them, sounds good I'll just cut regular zucchini (courgettes here) length wise and then into circles.
