I often put croutons in Cholent but then again I eat soup nuts with anything

I can't eat watermelon without salt. It just doesn't taste right on it's own.

Broccoli, swiss chard, collards, or any other type of dark greens cooked, and served with a huge dollop of mayo (preferably Hellman's).

Peanut butter with dry salami is really good.

To be honest, I think weird food combinations aren't as shocking nowadays with the proliferation of exotic cookbooks, food styles and fusion cuisine.

Back when I was a kid our British guests were absolutely horrified to be served pumpkin pie for dessert - the horror! A vegetable for dessert?!! The first time I saw strawberries in a lettuce salad was weird, but I feel like nowadays anything goes.

Okay, maybe don't dip pickled herring into your Seven Up.

I"m pretty flexible when it comes to new tastes but that was a hard one Very Happy

Apparently it is quite a treat in Holland though.

Jarred gefilte fish with grape jelly. The non Jewish kitchen staff at senior retreat thought that combo was delicious.
