Is this a roast or has the flanken been butchered into what are called "Miami Ribs" or Korean Ribs.
I ask because there would be different cooking techniques for ribs versus a roast
Miami ribs are beef short ribs (flanken) that have been sliced into thin strips across the bone by the butcher. They're about 1/2-inch thick. Short ribs are a kosher cut of beef.

The og recipe was for Miami ribs but a previous poster said she uses it for a flanken roast. I assume cook time is different
