My DS 4yr old sometimes wakes up wet in middle of the night after putting him on a size 7 target diaper! The diaper itself doesnt seem too wet...

Diaper might be too big. He might need different size or brand altogether.

Target diapers aren't great. I've had a lot of tzaros with them...
I know it's more expensive, but pampers are so much better.

I had the opposite problem, tzaros with pampers much better with target.
Try getting overnight diapers from different brands and see what works.

Yeah, and for us Huggies worked the best. I think a lot of it depends on how the diaper fits your individual kid’s tush. If you need more absorbency, I like the Sposie insert. Also, for a boy, make sure his thing is pointed down when you put the diaper on. If it’s up or to the side, pee will leak right out.
