Anyone interested in joining a yom tov challenge where we eat matzo for all (30? ) meals from Rosh Hashana until after Simchas Torah instead of challah?

I always do unless I'm a guest at someones house. I can't continue that commitment.

Yes. A segula not to gain a ton over all the shabbosim and weekday yomim tovim. Challah with dips can add lots of calories each meal fast.

I'd much rather commit to eating only one slice of challa at each meal. Matza is cardboard and doesn't satisfy me.

Wafer cake is allowed. It doesn’t have any calories on yom tov.

Can you? Then you should block the weight loss group because you don’t belong here🤪

Then I'm all in.

I can commit to either one slice of challah (please give exact measurements) or a matzah.

Why can't you do the minimum amount of challah and no dips instead of matzoh?

And challah doesn't have any calories for me over yom tov. Why limit the magic to wafer cake?

I can commit to one slice of challah and no dips. Matza makes me feel like I'm chewing the cud and will take away from my simchas yom tov. Am I still allowed entry into the club?

I've done that in the past when trying to lose weight.

These days, I can only do it as long as I don't have warm, crusty sourdough challa because that stuff gets wiped off the table in minutes.

I think I should commit to such a plan. My husband has been begging me to start making bigger size challos, but I keep telling him that if the challah is bigger I'll just eat more! So maybe if I won't eat he'll agree that the challos are big enough. Or he'll realize how much I always eat! TMI Yikes!!! Hiding

I'll need a cheering squad and lots of chizzuk. Oh, and reminders. Cuz I tend to forget I'm dieting till after I finished eating.

Wait.
So its either one slice challah without dips or a matza with dips?

I go for the second choice.

I make small rolls all year for portion control. for yomtov I'm pretty sure I'll continue doing this as we'll all come home at different times.

I don't see the need to eat challa and torture ourselves.

not making dips as it's so many meals all in a row. no one will be that hungry meal after meal.

I used to do this before I went off gluten. It was also in the days before dips were discovered.

I don't eat meat (it doesn't agree with me). That saves a huge weight gain.

Also, despite great pressure from my girls, my meals start with either fruit, soup, or a salad. Only one course before the main, and it's not a knish with sauce. Usually.
