Justin’s to figure out if there are different tests that exist or everything is the same. Basically never had COVID symptoms tested for antibodies about eight month ago and got a negative, then I gave birth two month ago and part of my hospital blood work was a antibody test that came back high. I was exposed two weeks ago to COVID so I retested my antibodies to make sure I am ok and again I got a negative result.
Can anyone help me understand how this is possible.
Thanks

My doctor says antibody testing is useless. If you had covid, you should be immune regardless of antibody status. If you were exposed with no symptoms and you have antibodies then you can assume immunity. If you have no known exposure and never had symptoms positive antibodies are meaningless and you should assume not immune.
