Please answer only if it's really a symptom. Not every symptom must be covid. Back in March when I had covid I had high fever and slept all day for a week. Now I have covid again more like a bad cold, no fever, but I'm just not tired. It's 3 am and I can't sleep. Not because I can't but because I feel rested. I had a 1 hr nap before and that was it. Last night the same thing. Can it really be related to covid? I'm going nuts from boredom. I'm not interested in being productive now and start doing things. I want to be tired.

I sometimes get insomnia when I’m sick. The autonomic nervous system can go a little wonky when the body is fighting an infection.

You tested positive for covid 5 months after you had it?? Or did you mean March 2020?
When I had covid I also couldn’t sleep but I think it was mainly because I was so uncomfortable. If you are taking an antihistamine sometimes it has a reverse effect and can make you jittery.

I couldn't fall asleep when I had covid and used nighttime Nyquil cold & flu before bed. When I used it, I slept well and had a better day the next day.

I had it the week of the lockdown. Now I have the delta variant. I didn't test but dh did test positive. I'm pretty sure it's the delta variant because it's very different than when I had it in March. I'm not taking any medications. I bh much much better. I took zinc for 1 day.

When I had covid, I didn’t have insomnia but I didn’t sleep well cuz I had crazy dreams. I noticed I did not have them when I took Tylenol before bed.

No crazy dreams bh. Just not tired. I'm busy all day and I don't feel like I only had an HR of sleep last night. This is freaky
